Ministry of Education has recommended Old Academic Building renovation project to be submitted for state funancing

January 20, 2017 Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has recommended Old Academic Building renovation project to be submitted for state funancing.

Previous actions by the NaUKMA:

November 24, 2016. The NaUKMA has submitted the Concept Note of the NaUKMA state investment project "Rennovation of Old Academic building".

December 5, 2016. Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has published Concept Note of the NaUKMA state investment project "Rennovation of Old Academic building" on its site for Public Hearings

December 13, 2016. The NaUKMA has made round table "Old Academic (Mazepa) Building: ways to save it."

December 17, 2016. The NaUKMA has published an Open letter to ask for the state support of building renovation. more than 500 people signed the letter

December 23, 2016. The NaUKMA has submitted state investment project "Rennovation of Old Academic building" to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

Next steps:

Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is to provide NaUKMA with project expertise results by January 22 (30 days from project  submission date according to Cabinet of Ministers Act no 571)

Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is to submit state investment project to the Ministry of Economic Development by March 1

State interministry commission is to chose and recommend projects to state budget 2018 in March-April 2017
